Fellowship
is what connects and binds our church family together. Sunday
Morning Coffee, and other events are scheduled during the
year in order to provide a venue for spiritual support,
community involvement, as well as social opportunities and
the development of lasting friendships.
The
Wilson Memorial family shares with others around the world
through its Outreach programs. Organizations
at the international, national and local level are prayerfully
selected each year to receive monetary gifts, material items
or volunteer time. We extend a helping hand through our
Mission Trip, Interfaith Hospitality Network (hosting homeless
families with Union Village Methodist Church), Neighborhood
House of Plainfield, Chaplaincy and Hospice Programs with
Overlook, Muhlenberg and Somerset Hospitals, and in many
other ways.
In
support of our Community, we provide meeting
space to several organizations such as AA, OA, Girl Scouts
and Boy Scouts, as well as the Men/Women Garden Club. Church
Women United, Contact-We-Care training, and United Family
and Children's Society use our church for some of their
programs. We also participate in blood drives, Habitat
for Humanity, Crop Walk, UNICEF, Heifer Project as well
as other community programs.
